So imagine my shock when he suddenly turned straitjacket-crazy when I got to Toma's route! Because of that, Ukyo completely got my attention! Anyway, let me warn you of spoilers! Reading this post won't spoil you too much, just don't say that I didn't warn you though!
Anyways, here are the random thoughts that constantly pops over my mind. Hope this could help you in any way :)
1. Everytime I see Ukyo, I get the urge the hug him. But as all of us know... we can't hug someone on the screen. *cries*
2. WHY IS HIS HAIR MORE BEAUTIFUL THAN MINE?!
3. If by some reason Ukyo is real, and he is my boyfriend or husband or something... I feel like I'm gonna have a heart attack... because you know, what if you wake up in bed and you see this face staring at you?
But I still love you, Ukyo! Don't worry! I can put up with that face!... or maybe not hahaha.
4. Everytime I see Ukyo on the screen, I'm always on edge... because you know... that face.
5. Ukyo is so cute when he blushes! Ukyo is so cute when he's normal. No, seriously, his normal self is the type of guy I'd like to date ^_^
6. His route is definitely the most complicated one out there. That's obvious of course since it's the route that explains everything! To be honest, I thought that Amnesia is a bit boring compared to other otome games like Nameless. Ikki's and Kent's routes were cute and lovely, but I don't find it quite compelling... I mean, I didn't stay up all night just to finish their routes like I usually do.
Toma's route was okay, but maybe I'm just biased because well, he's a yandere. Shin's route was the only other route besides Ukyo's that I found interesting. Over-all, Ukyo's route is the best! He's got tons of bad ends! And yeah, I love bad ends!
7. So, about his yandereness, if that is even a word. I personally like Ukyo. I like how he straight-up hijacks other routes just to show his scary side... or kill you... or push you in the well. But he is definitely the very definition of a yandere out there.
He loves her so much that he is willing to die. He loves her so much that he is willing to kill her just so he could see you in the next world. He loves her so much that he keeps protecting her while still maintaining some distance (tell me if that doesn't hurt T^T). He loves her so much that he keeps stalking her.
One of the scenes that I keep remembering was on Shin's route where Mine reported that someone who has the same features as Ukyo just died from falling off a rooftop in the middle of the night... and the rooftop was the perfect place if he wanted to watch the heroine on her hospital room's window... they might call him stalker but in reality, he's just looking out for her, isn't he?
Anyway, it is kinda unnatural to meet a yandere who kills not the other people but the heroine herself. But really, if you'd know Ukyo's story, who wouldn't forgive him? To endure gruesome deaths over and over again is no small feat. No one can deny that he really does love her.
8. Am I the only one who cried at the scene where Ukyo cried? You know, when he was about to stab her?
9. That scene where Orion and Nhil came back as humans was... *sniff*
10. Don't forgive Ukyo and you'll be heartwrenched. No seriously, this bad end was what made me cry the most.
So, in conclusion, that was such a good route! It's actually been a long time since an otome made me cry. Geez, and it's even the eve before Christmas -_- If you haven't played he game yet, I suggest you do! Although you can't play Ukyo's route until you had all good endings of all other characters, I can honestly say it's all worth it in the end.
On a side note, I do think I can put up with that face. As long as he doesn't kill me of course haha. So, that's all I guess?
