Name: Mirai
BORDERLINE YANDERE (On some endings only)
Role: Obtainable Character
Yandere Type: Obsessive
I've always been weak against white hairs and green eyes. So, here I am presenting Twin Project's stat-raising otome game called "Ikusei Nikki" or "My Raising Diary"!
So, what's this game all about?
Synopsis: In a certain laboratory, a research to create an artificial lifeform which has abilities far surpassing most people is being conducted. That research is finally beginning to bear fruit, however...
The protagonist who works there is being forced by the other researchers on her team to raise the lifeform.
Called a genius from childhood, with no memories of being treated like a child, the protagonist who doesn't really know a parents love feels uneasy at this so called child-raising research. However...
Okay, so the thing is, we get to raise the kid (Mirai) according to how we want him to grow. We could be kind to him or we could treat him like crap. We could go talk to him or we could take a break or go shopping instead.
You see, it's kinda obvious from the start that Mirai's gonna fall in love with the doctor. So, how do you make him obsessed with you? Just treat him like he's a burden. Ignore him always. Don't ever choose to talk to him. Most yanderes become yanderes because they haven't received much love when they were still young, so don't give him love too! (Although that would be kind of heartbreaking since that face is so adorable.)
Just a note, though. If you're looking for heavy yandere goodness, you're not gonna find it here. As I've labeled above, he's borderline. And out of 16 endings, there are only a few borderline yandere scenes which depends on which end you're about to have.
So, lemme share to you my experiences with the game.
I played this game with the main purpose of raising him up to be a yandere, though at that time I wasn't so sure if that was possible in the game. Also, I wasn't planning on using a walkthrough/guide. I wanted to play it on my own understanding. The first five endings (and the departure ending) were easy enough to unlock, but after that, I was kinda stuck. I was like, what the heck am I supposed to choose? There's still 10 endings left!
After too much trial and error in choices, a new event has finally popped up... an event that tingled all all my yandere instincts...
Why do you want to take me to a secluded place, Mirai? |
And so, I followed Mirai to the library. By the time I got there, my yandere instincts were going wild since the place looks so dark.
This place is dark. What are you planning to do with me? |
Okay, so fast-forward, something happened in there. Too bad it wasn't R-18. If it was, it would've been a sexy moment. (Ahaha, what a pervert.) So, if you're planning to play the game (and if you're a yandere fan), do your best to get all five Dark/Destructive Endings!
Anyway, if you're not into yanderes, I would still say that this game is for you! Most endings other than the Dark Endings are actually pretty sweet! Especially the mutual love end! Man, I want to raise a lifeform like him, too! (Although I think it's actually creepy in real life. I mean, synthetic lifeforms?)
So, for a stat-raising game (which I actually kind of despise) which only has less than two hours of playthrough if you're using a guide, the game is actually a bit satisfying to me (and also a bit boring. Well, I didn't expect much). So what are you waiting for? If this got you interested, then go play it now! ^_^
It's probably my fault why you grew up like that. |
Yup, it's definitely my fault. With all those messed up stats. |
Have you played this yet? What do you think? What's your opinion?
