So I found a visual novel called Yandere in 100 words! The title itself was what made me download it, I mean Yandere! Anyway, please click the gif picture above to download the visual novel.
The visual novel includes 27 yandere stories all in all, and all of them contains 100 words per story. Still, although they call it short story, it's more like a monologue of a yandere. Some of them are creepy though. But admit it, we all like creepy. We all like yanderes whispering in our ears, saying Don't leave me. If you leave me... I'll kill you.
Hah! Anyway, although the experience seem pretty short, I guess it was worthwhile. And by the way, since these stories are monologues, no gender is emphasized in some of the stories. You're free to imagine the characters as a boy or a girl... or a gay?
These are the titles of the stories found in here and whether the narrator is male, female or unknown:
1. Counting (No Gender)
2. Dream (No Gender)
3. Voice (Male Yandere)
4. Diary (Female Yandere)
5. Cage (No Gender - long hair was mentioned though so the author must have wanted it to be a girl. But hey, lots of male characters now are long-haired. So, oh well ^_^
6. Music Box (Female Yandere)
7. Spell (No gender)
8. Tea Party (Male Yandere)
9. Bridge (Male Yandere)
10. Chocolate (Male Yandere)
11. Spinning 1 (Male Yandere - the narrator is a girl but she wasn't the yandere. It's a sequel to the Chocolate)
12. Spinning 2 (Male Yandere)
13. Secret (Female Yandere)
14. Flower (Male Yandere)
15. Wilting (Male Yandere - most likely a sequel to Flower)
16. Obedient (No Gender)
17. Forgive (Female Yandere - although the narrator is the male)
18. Obsession (No Gender - but it's kinda feels like a male yandere. Not even sure if he's yandere though. He doesn't love her, yet he's obviously obsessed with her.)
19. Accident (Male Yandere)
20. Expressions (No Gender - but the author wanted it to be male)
21. Tainted (Female Yandere)
22. Pluck (Female Yandere)
23. Mask (Female Yandere)
24. Crack (No Gender)
25. Diamond (Female Yandere)
26. Popular (Male Yandere - the love interest is male too, though)
27. Connect (Female Yandere)
I personally liked Counting, Chocolate, Spinning 1 and 2. And the Author's notes for every story we're always fun to read ^_^ Some of the characters remind me of Tei and Toma (you know, with the tea-drugging and cage-locking) Ahaha!
It's hard to actually make a rating since there are different kinds of yanderes in there, and they're all good at what they do. So maybe a 3? The word limit was a shame though... Over-all, it was a good short read. Perfect to pass some time with our favorite yandere types.
ah, yes, my favorite gender. 'a gay?'
